League of Legends periodically releases patches that include fixes, improvements, and new content. Below is our planned patch schedule for 2025. Patches release on a Wednesday (PT) unless otherwise indicated.
We've also adjusted our patches to match 2025's new rotation of three seasons per year, which results in the format YEAR.SEASON.PATCH-NUMBER. So instead of 15.1, we have 25.S1.1, and so on. Each season runs for 8 patches, so you can easily tell how much time is left in any given season.
Note: Patch dates can change at any time for any number of reasons. We recommend checking this page a day or two before a patch to see if it's moved. If a patch is delayed within 48 hours of its scheduled date, we'll put an alert at the top of this page.
